Diamonds Direct is located in the centre of Kerikeri in the Bay of Islands, Northland, New Zealand. Being a tourist destination means catering to a wide range of tastes and cultures. Because over 70% of the world's diamonds pass through Antwerp, Belgium they buy their diamonds directly from there. By invitation only Johnny and Patricia make trips to the Diamond City where they are welcomed in under armed security to some of the largest Diamond Houses in the world.

Company History
Opening it's doors in 1994 in Kaikohe under the name Broadway Gold a steep learning curve began. In 2000 a second store Kerikeri Goldsmith was purchased. It was decided in 2004 to close Broadway Gold and focus on Kerikeri as the growth clearly was here. In 2005 a new bigger, smarter store was opened and a new name to reflect the change in direction, Designer Goldsmith & Diamonds Direct.

Sustainability Policy
Diamonds Direct are dedicated to sustainability and minimising their carbon footprint.
Every scrap of sandpaper, old files and polishing mops and waste polish, all floor sweeps are saved. It all gets sent off to be refined to recover the precious metals impregnated in it.
Many customers too are doing their bit by bringing in their old jewellery and having it re-modelled into something new and exciting. Just another method of recycling.
